The two met in a bar in Ul'Dah, where he offered Corissa work, contracts & contacts. The two were partners for a time, but Hari grew abusive towards her as they spent more time together. During their relationship, he would curse her, beat her, spit on her, force her to test drugs, as well as chain her up to sell her body. He eventually grew tired of her & stabbed her one morning, leaving her to rot in the sun outside of Ala Mhigo. Were it not for the help of a group of kind strangers, she would not have survived. They took her back to Ul'Dah, finding her the proper care to nurse her wounds before the damage became fatal. She has not been back to Ala Mhigo since that day. Panic washes over her at the very mention of the name of the city. She dares not recant the man's name, let alone the horrors that happened to her. She still uses some of his contacts to find work & contracts to earn a living, & in exchange, the contacts dare not mention her to Hari nor vice versa. Since Ala Mhigo, he has not actively hunted after her work nor life.

Gunnar Clayworth ~ Ex-Contractor

A primary source of work for her after Hari had abandoned her, he had initially promised to help her with keeping coin in her pocket by providing work she could manage. While Hari was kept out of the picture, he manipulated Corissa into doing contracts no one else would take while undercutting her pay for those jobs significantly by taking a bigger cut, (usually a 75/25 split). Still, he acted as a good friend to her when she was present in his life. He told her he would not tell Hari of her whereabouts, though he secretly kept feeding information to Hari without her knowing. He is one of Hari's top commanders, but has always played it off to Corissa as being more of a small time worker for Hari instead. He always claimed the contracts came from a variety of sources, but these contracts were always sourced by Hari himself.

Known simply as Khan, he found her one night at a club event while she was hitting a low point in her life, (or perhaps rather - she found him!) Ever since that night, they have crossed paths many times. He is the most kind, generous, and caring man to her. He reminds her of the type of companion she wishes to marry.

Khan & Corissa met one evening while they were finishing contracts in Ul'Dah. Khan followed Corissa back to her new tavern (a place that was still being set up properly), only to find her doing drugs. She had purchased what she thought to be Fogweed, only to figure out that her ex-husband had spiked her supplier with a batch of Somnus. It was the same supplier that had given her contracts to fund her Tavern. Gunnar was a big name among these suppliers. She had told Khan at the time the names of the suppliers, but Gunnar was the only one she can remember most that stuck out. After her incident with Khan, she decided to leave Gridania for a time and go overseas to a more remote location. She has currently found solace and protection in hiding out in Shirogane, taking up work with The Black Lotus and hoping that her new contractor will shield her from the clutches of her ex husband, Hari. While she knows he is a powerful man, he is not invincible nor is he able to track her as easily in foreign lands such as the one she is currently in. She hopes to be able to blend in easily, and knows to not trust Gunnar for any reason ever again. The Black Lotus is now her only chance of a means to make connections that might earn her high enough amounts of coin to sustain her lifestyle. Due to the intense paranoia, she has been drinking a lot more and getting higher than ever between bottles. If you are ever at The Black Lotus house, you may see her drowning herself in a bottle in the basement or smoking somewhere on the property between her jobs to keep herself from spiraling out on her own anxiety.

She prefers to work alone, but isn't above requesting help if a job is particularly difficult & pays well. Maybe you need to hire her as an inconspicuous escort. Maybe you need rare wares or parts few can proclaim. No matter what it is, if you have gil then she has service!

Corissa is regular at the Manderville Gold Saucer. When she isn't on the job or at the tavern, she is spending her leisure time here. If you frequent the Saucer, chances are high that you've seen her around with a smirk and a coin twirling between her fingers. She is happy to trade stories, play some cards, or do a little gambling on the side. Just don't try to flirt with her or she may knock you out.

Corissa knows exactly how important cargo can be, and how important it is to receive it promptly. Due to her time as a Marauder at sea, she has picked up some of the ways of the rogues as well as their connections. She knows how to navigate and can get into places that people ordinarily shouldn't or wouldn't. Those who have earned her trust know that they can count on her to make sure a package is delivered and a sale is made. She can also reclaim or procure victims of kidnapping, as well as items that have been lost or stolen. Some circles have called her "Feather Foot", as she is often silent when she needs to be or well hidden when the situation calls for such. No matter what the job needs, you can rest assured that she will do whatever it takes to complete the task. All she asks is that you give her the coin that is promised to her or that you adhere to the terms of the agreement. Otherwise, there will be blood & coin to pay!
